On Monday, September 15th, AFA and United management met with the Federal Mediator to discuss plans for resuming Contract negotiations. 

We are pleased to announce that we secured additional mediation dates, and the bargaining will now commence on October 29 - 31. Previously, we were scheduled to begin mediation in December.  

The Negotiations Committee is analyzing the results of the survey and feedback from the Membership to prepare an opening proposal for approval by the MEC. The proposal will be targeted to address the key issues and concerns of United Flight Attendants. At the October 29 - 31 mediation session, your Negotiations Committee will present the opening proposal to United management.
